Three Sacred Days, One Act of Worship

Join us as we journey together through the Easter Triduum, (pronounced “tree do ’em”) an ancient three-day celebration of the death and resurrection of Jesus – Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and the Holy Saturday Easter Vigil. We encourage you to be part of this holistic experience that more fully engages us in the story that shapes and defines our lives and prepares us for Easter Sunday.

Maundy Thursday

On this night, we remember Jesus’ last meal with his disciples. He washed their feet and gave them the new commandment to “love one another even as I have loved you.” ‘Maundy’ comes from the Latin word for ‘mandate’ referring to Jesus’ new mandate to “love one another.” See pastor Patrick Vaughn's blog post here.

  • Gatherings hosted in homes within your parish
  • Printed guides available here under Maundy Thursday or on the blog

Good Friday

Good Friday is an old way of saying “God’s Friday,” the day of Jesus’ death on the cross. During this meditative worship service we remember and reflect on the crucifixion, using Scripture, prayer, song, and art to guide us along the “Way of the Cross.” Please arrive early, and please come and go quietly.
