Outreach Workshop: People of Peace and God's Relational Mission

Reach out to your friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers in your life. Share the good news of Jesus with them. Does that sound inviting and challenging to you? Maybe exciting and scary?

We know that evangelism is the beginning of discipleship. We see that God is already working in people’s lives, and we would like these people to join us on the journey. But it seems we aren’t confident about how to reach out in our cultural context without being "weird", so we often just don’t reach out to people.

In this workshop, we will learn that Jesus had a strategy for reaching out to people that he taught His disciples, namely, walking through life with our eyes open and our ears listening as God reveals to us the "people of peace’ He has prepared.

The workshop will be led by the 3DM Northwest Regional Team which works with dozens of churches in NorCal and the Pacific Northwest to help them grow in the character and competency of Jesus. They will lead a biblical exploration of how to walk in relational mission and recognize people of peace from Luke 10:1-6.
