Christ Church holds both Sunday worship services and other events throughout the week at our Berkeley location. Monday through Saturday, we meet in apartments and other locations for smaller gatherings within neighborhood parishes.

  • Childcare: Infant to 3 yrs begins at 8:45am; toddler time lessons weekly
  • CCKids classes: preschool (3-5 yrs); elementary (grades K-2 and grades 3-5)
  • CCYouth: grades 6-12; discipleship groups meet regularly


  • Street parking is free on Sunday, even at metered spaces. Families and those with limited mobility can use the green drop-off zone on Cedar Street.
  • Nearest lot: 1536 Shattuck Ave., one block north of Cedar Street. Parking costs $1/half hour or $5 for the day. It always has room on Sundays.

Parishes gather 20-40+ people based primarily on geographic proximity. They provide the best way to build relationships at Christ Church beyond a Sunday service. Christ Church serves the Berkeley community through several weekly and seasonal events.

Berkeley Community Breakfast

Our Berkeley location hosts a daily breakfast for Berkeley's low-income, homeless, and transient residents, through the Dorothy Day House.

  • Monday through Saturday, 7-8 a.m.
  • Volunteer to help. Each meal typically needs 2-5 volunteers.
  • We may serve up to 100 people per meal.

Building Rental

Christ Church is committed to continuing our Craftsman building’s longstanding role as a community event space. We host everything from preschool to Irish step dancing and serve as a Berkeley polling site during elections.
